V8 Trike Tours NZ - not ones to show off but did you know V8 Trike Tours NZ was voted Numero Uno in the Outdoor Activity category by Tripadvisor 2019? We know exactly why that is - riding on these trikes is epic!  It’s more than just getting your motors running - it’s thrilling, it’s exhilarating and its pulse pumping sitting on the back of these beautiful V8 Chevrolet Trikes. With the wind in your hair, blatting along Marine Parade you’ll be swept along to scenic lookouts and places of interest you might not have even known even existed. It’s an absolute buzz for all ages. If that doesn’t convince you then this recent Tripadvisor review should:

“For my husband’s birthday, my mum bought our family a 4 seater v8 trike ride as a surprise. What a blast! The kids were so excited when Nigel drove up the driveway to pick us up. The drive and views up Papamoa Hills were fab and then the ride through Welcome Bay, Tauranga and down to the Mount made it the perfect length cruise. We’ve never done anything like that before, but can highly recommend it to anyone. A great event that we will always remember as a family. A week later and the kids (6 & 8) are still talking about it at bedtime. Thanks Nigel!”

Adventure Helicopters - now if seeing things from a bird’s eye view is something you want to tick off your bucket list you have to book a trip with Adventure Helicopters.  These guys are the best and the fact they’ve been flying for years should give you peace of mind they know their stuff.  It will simply blow your mind up and away gazing down at this magnificent coastline that it just might feel like a dream.  Take as many photos as you can because you won’t want to miss out telling everyone about it when you’re back to terra firma. Talk about a wow moment.

Beat the Feet - As well as our gorgeous Mauao to walk up and around why not give the CBD To Mount Maunganui walking trail a go?  Set off and across the Harbour Bridge on a designated pathway you can stop and rest along the way if you want and count the number of cargo or cruise ships in town depending on the season.  As you head down Totara St towards the Mount you’ll be getting closer to some of the best bars, cafes and restaurants in town so what better motivation do you need?  Too tired to walk back? Don’t worry about that there’s plenty of buses or cabs that can bring you home, or maybe even better,  hitch a ride on the back of a V8 Trike and have an awesome tiki tour back to finish the day off in style.
